FlexyWood represents the Made in Italy brand of wood pulp friezes. The attention to detail, the perfection of the carving together with the high quality of the material make these friezes unique and elegant!
Friezes are simply perfect for giving a dynamic line to the smoothest parts of your furniture. The variety and particularity of our friezes will allow each one to create unique masterpieces. They are perfect for quickly and easily improving your upcycled furniture and craft projects.
All you need is a heat source, a good quality wood glue, and a surface to attach your FlexyWood!! They can be applied anywhere: on furniture, glass, doors, aluminum and, by heating them with a heat gun or simply with a hairdryer, they also adapt to curved surfaces. They can be drilled, cut, folded, glued and sanded.
Applying a frieze: How to do it?
-
Simply heat the frieze with a heat gun, hair dryer, or on a heating pad.
-
Apply glue to the back of the frieze and glue it to the chosen surface. Of course, you have to press firmly to fix the frieze to the surface and heat it again.
-
Wipe off the excess glue and then you're done!
How to remove a frieze:
-
Heat the frieze with a heat gun, hair dryer or on a griddle.
-
Gently use a spatula or knife to remove the frieze.
-
Remove the frieze from the surface.
-
Now the FlexyWood frieze is ready to be reapplied elsewhere.
FlexyWood also has a wide range of decorative pulp cords. They are spectacular and can give that extra touch to your project. Warm them up before unrolling them and then decorate the object with glue and a little imagination. FlexyWood cords are 2.20 meters long and are of the highest quality!
Tips for using FlexyWood cords:
-
Do not unwind the cords until they have been heated.
-
Keep them rolled up and unroll only what you need.
-
If you accidentally cut them a little too short, don't worry, they will stretch by up to 10%.
-
You can cool and heat them as much as you want.
It is immediately noticeable, observing the range of FlexyWood friezes, always in continuous increase and improvement, which represent and enclose the precision and finesse of Italian art, unique in the world.
